Bahram Sadeghian is a native of Abadan, Iran. He began his exploration of Iranian traditional Music with a four year study of the vocal radif of Mohammad Karimi. In 1976, Mr.Sadeghian moved to the United States where he received a gradute degree in mechanical engineering. His marriage to Ms.Nikfal in 1986 was a turning point, leading to his greater involvement with Iranian traditional music. Since then he has performed throughout the United States while continuing his studies of various styles f traditional singing. He has studied the style of Ostad Taj-e Esfahni with one of his deciples, Mr.Nezami, and has attended several of Ostad Mahmud Reza Shajarian's master classes in New York and Washington D.C. He still resides in the US with his wife, Shahla Nikfal and son.
