Bahram Sadeghian is a native of Abadan, Iran. He began his exploration of Iranian traditional Music with a personal four year study of the vocal radif of Mohammad Karimi. In 1976, Mr. Sadeghian moved to the United States, and continued to pursue the study of Persian music.
Since then he has performed throughout the United States while continuing his studies of various styles f traditional singing.
Today, Mr. Sadeghian performs regularly across the U.S. and participates in educational programming He's been involved with the Carnegie Hall Silk Road Festival, the Lowell Music Festival, and the American Museum of Natural History "Voice of America" program.
He resides in the US with his wife, Shahla Nikfal, and son.
