Shahla Nikfal and Bahram Sadeghian have offered classes for novice and advanced musicians in the New York Metropolitan area for the last twenty-five years.
Shahla Nikfal, who boasts over 50 privately-taught students, has been both classically trained and traditionally trained in Persian music. She teaches piano and violin, as well as the qanun. Several of her students also participate in the NJ Symphony Youth Orchestra and have performed in venues across the US, such as New York's Town Hall. Her classes are based out of Northern New Jersey.
Bahram Sadeghian's extensive knowledge of traditional Persian music is showcased in the classes he offers. He teaches  traditional Persian avaz (vocals), daf, and zarb (tombak). His classes are based out of New York, NY.
